Description:

The Chiefs Hockey Club is a recreational youth hockey organization incorporated in Elmhurst Illinois with games and practices at Addison Ice Arena. The Chiefs were founded in 1993 and have provided many children their first experience to hockey. The Chiefs are a “House Travel B” program and play in the Northwest Hockey League and play games throughout the greater Chicago area. The club offers a program based on the following principles:

* Balanced Ice Time
* Balanced Teams
* Team Play and Sportsmanship

We stress development of hockey skills for new and developing players in a program designed to provide all an equal opportunity to grow and succeed.

We provide skating instruction for our younger ages as well as game play and skill development for our older participants in focused clinics throughout each season.

The “Winter Season” consists of 18 league games, 40+ practices, and an end of the season playoff tournament. The “Winter Season” runs from September through February each year with the NWHL tournament in early March.

The Chiefs also provide Spring Hockey in a season the runs from April through early June. The Spring season typically consist of 8 league games and an end of the season tournament.
