The NWHL issues suspensions to players or coaches who violate USA Hockey, AHAI or NWHL rules. Clubs are at liberty to increase the number of games suspended based on club rules or the severity of the violation. Clubs CANNOT weaken the suspension for any reason.

In order for players to be removed from the "to be served" list, the score sheet(s) from the game(s) in which the player was suspended must be submitted to Rebecca Schulz. The score sheet must list the suspended player on the roster with SUS next to their name as well as their name listed under the "players serving suspensions" heading below the roster.
